Originally, the College catered for long-term residential students committed to ministry in the world-wide New Church movement. This continued and developed until the late 1990s when a move to open learning became an attractive proposition to reach a wider range of learners. The Centre continues to provide specialised theological and pastoral training of ministers for the New Church using its open learning techniques. It is also open to an increasingly wide variety of people interested in pursuing Swedenborgian studies at any one of a series of levels. The present administrative centre in Radcliffe, Manchester provides a welcoming environment, and includes a combined chapel and lecture room, a library and computer facilities. A small quantity of good quality residential accommodation is available for short term study opportunities. Is our learning service for you? Please read on. |
