About Wellspring House

Wellspring House is a Resource Centre in Radcliffe, North Manchester.

Wellspring House is a Resource Centre for spiritual education and wellbeing in the North of England. The Centre offers a peaceful space for reflection, creativity, learning, and connecting with others. Groups and individuals from across the UK and farther afield enjoy the warm welcome and excellent facilities.

Home to the Swedenborg Open Learning Centre, Wellspring House holds a treasure trove of information and so provides an inspiring environment for students of the 18th century visionary Emanuel Swedenborg. The Education Team led by Helen Brown offers open learning courses inspired by Swedenborg’s writings and spiritual insights. Courses are structured to offer maximum flexibility, with online resources that enable you to fit your study time around family and other work commitments.  As a registered student you will have access to the library at Wellspring House for personal study. Tutorials and regular events at the Centre offer you an opportunity to connect with others who share your interests.

What’s on Offer.

Karen Nolan manages the Resource Centre supported by Melanie Hayes Centre Administrator and a small team of volunteers. Karen, a qualified psychotherapist, facilitates a regular art for wellbeing group and is establishing a thriving, creative community at Wellspring House.  Education Leader, Helen works closely with Karen  to offer a range of workshops, gatherings and retreats. These events complement the open learning courses. All events take place at Wellspring House in Radcliffe, Manchester or at Purley Chase Centre in Warwickshire.

Wellspring House is a great setting for training, meetings and assessment centres. A number of organisations and freelance trainers regularly hire rooms here.  The peaceful, friendly surroundings provide an ideal space away from the interruptions of your busy day to day working environment. Please talk to the team about room hire options.

The team would also love to hear from qualified trainers and therapists working in mental health, wellbeing, psychotherapy or spiritual development and who are interested in working together to expand the offer at Wellspring House. If you have ideas for a future workshop or would like to come along to one of our events, please get in touch.  with Karen.
