What brings you joy?
Does joy come from within?
Or is it about external situations that bring joy to us?
Joy is the theme of a new spring workshop at Wellspring House
Living joyfully is about an appreciation of what connects us with a deeper and expanded experience of life.
We can find joy in the little things in life. The smile on a baby’s face, the beauty of a sunset, watching a bumble bee moving from flower to flower gatheringnectar. If only we stop and notice. Equally we experience joy in the joy of others. To be concerned for others, to have our focus on service to others and in that moment, be self-forgetting.
Through a day of sharing, talks, meditation and creative work we will explore what it is to live joyfully. There will be an opportunity to share ideas and experiences with others, as well as time for quiet reflection. The workshop will include some practical exercises to help us cultivate joy in our daily life and enhance our inner sense of wellbeing.
Joy is an infallible sign of the presence of God
