Starting 26 September 2017, join us on Tuesday mornings, for an eight week introduction to Practising Mindfulness.
We will meet weekly, in the peaceful surroundings of Wellspring House, to learn Mindfulness as a group.
Mindfulness is an ancient Buddhist practice. It has become increasingly popular as a way of reducing stress and improving health and wellbeing. Our eight week programme provides a gentle introduction. Our aim is to enhance participants’ general wellbeing and create a space for spiritual exploration for those who wish to develop this further.
We will follow the format of the New Church Journey Programme ‘Practising Mindfulness.’ Designed by Sasha Silverman this programme is ideal for small groups. It incorporates teachings from Emanuel Swedenborg and other sources. Our weekly sessions will include exercises, reading, discussion, sharing of experiences and opportunities for reflection. Over the eight weeks we hope participants will incorporate some simple mindfulness exercises into their daily lives.
To benefit fully, we invite participants to commit, as far as practicable, to attending the full eight week programme.

This is an inclusive programme drawing on secular as well as spiritual sources, we welcome participation from anyone interested in exploring mindfulness regardless of faith or belief. The cost of this programme in £24 per person. If preferred this may be paid in weekly instalments.
