Wellspring House is a great place to find space to take time out from the bustle of everyday life, find peace in the library, nourish mind and soul with fresh learning and join in events and courses in good company.
There are regular events such as meditation that are open to all.
We welcome outside groups who use our premises to hold meetings or workshops, for example, Manchester and Salford Counselling Service (MASCS) regularly use rooms. If you are interested in rooms for hire (therapy, meeting or lecture rooms) then contact our Administrator, Melanie Bennett, for more information.Read more →

Mysticism and Swedenborg as a Mystic
This course looks the breadth of the mystical tradition. It includes Eastern mysticism and Western Mysticism.
It describes the writings of five mediaeval mystics (Meister Eckhart, Nicholas of Cusa, Julian of Norwich, Teresa of Avila and St John of the Cross) and three twentieth century mystics (Wilson van Dusen, Matthew Fox and Evelyn Underhill). All this is done with Swedenborg’s mysticism as a backdrop.
Starts September 2016 at Wellspring House.
Pause for thought
Heaven consists in a heartfelt desire that things shall be better for others than for oneself and a desire to serve others and further their happiness, doing so with no selfish intention but out of love..
