The resource centre has a large ground floor training room and a beautiful library, both are used regularly for business meetings, workshops, meditation and tutorials. Upstairs there is an additional meeting room and a cosy counselling room. Wellspring House is located on Radcliffe New Road and convenient for Whitefield, Prestwich, Radcliffe, Bolton and Bury and the M60 motorway. Parking is available on site.
Enjoy the atmosphere
A wide range of people enjoy the peaceful surroundings and facilities here. Regular visitors include mental health trainers who hire the rooms to deliver their courses. Local business managers come here for team meetings and away days. Artists, writers and students of Swedenborg find inspiration in the Library. Church members and participants in the Wednesday art group enjoy chatting over coffee and relaxing with friends.

The Wellspring House team is keen to make connections with organisations, who share similar aims and values. We are particularly interested in working together on joint wellbeing and spiritual development initiatives.
The Open Learning Centre welcomes enquiries from people interested in learning more about Swedenborg’s writings and ideas. Students come from a wide range of backgrounds. Many students are new to Swedenborg’s work and wish to discover more. Some have already studied the Writings extensively and wish to consolidate or further develop their understanding. The open learning, modular approach offers a flexible method of study that fits around individual lifestyles and enables overseas students to participate.
The Centre has a team of friendly and supportive tutors who design and deliver the courses. Drawn from backgrounds in education, clinical psychology, science, ministry and senior management this talented team of tutors share a passion for Swedenborg and bring a wealth of experience to their work with students.
Courses we offer
- Introductory or taster courses which give a flavour of what you might expect.
- The main group of courses in three levels, for in-depth study of Swedenborg’s spiritual insights, Biblical study and the application of this in life.
